Keywords:
hormone, assay, regression
Categories:
generalized linear models, regression;
biology
Description:
The data are from the results of two assay experiments for a certain hormone. Further information about the data (including the units of measurement) was denied permission to be divulged. In the experiment, the old (or reference) method is compared to a new (or test) method.

There are 86 measurements for each of the two methods.

Variables:
Reference The results of the assay experiment using the old (reference) method.
Test The results of the assay experiment using the new (test) method.
Data Quality:
There are no missing values.

Notes:
The data can be used as an example of regression with non-constant variance, which leads to taking either log-transforms or using a gamma glm (with an id link).
